Born in Cairo 1966, graduated from faculty of fine arts Alexandria University where he works as professor of art at the department of sculpture.
He participated in more than 50 group exhibitions and had 4 solo exhibitions in Rome, Cairo and Alexandria, he participated in The Benallie of Alexandria (20th edition), and The Cairo Benallie for Pottery.
Dr Essam has won many awards from Goethe Institute, Youth award at the Pottery Benallieand many more awards .
